Oily looking stuff on Nepthia

Or is it a Green Sinularia? No matter. Been home during the day for the last 2 weeks. Noticed it closing up during the day just about time for MH on. . I thought it was due to MH being on for 3 hrs in afternoon. So my MH has been off for last 4 days. Still closes up and then never really fully extends. Tonight I just noticed there's an oily something something on it. Actually looks wet in some areas. Da it is wet! Very strange. When you touch it it doesn't feel oily tho and it wipes off.
Oh and I do know the test to determine exactly what it is. Cut a sliver add bleach...etc. Thanks tho!

It looks like it's getting ready to shed. They'll do this from time to time. It's just a normal part of the growth process.

Mine just went thru this and now its bigger and greener.

Completely normal it usually takes a couple of days but once it's over they will be even bigger/brighter colored
