Based on a discussion with Dale (tinygiants) I made the following mod to my return line. This should keep me from losing any more jewelry! This is not the cheapest way but I just happened to see this at Lowes and thought I would try it. The screen was $29 and I am sure it could be found for less. Adding the fittings and this mod is about $35.

It did not work at first and still created a cavitation so I added the rubber shield and that forces the return to suck through a larger area.

Funny some guests ask why there are so many tangs...I really don't have an answer for that, at least not one I can say out loud. :lol:

Sometimes it's hard to answer questions and not be rude. I have a problem with that especially since having a stroke. I have lost some filters so-to-speak.

Answers to that question are:

1. because I can
2. what are you stupid?
3. they're so pretty
4. I need something to eat the algae
5. I like to watch them fight
6. the store told me they wouldn't grow too big
7. well I bought this one and he seemed lonely so I bought that one and then the pair fought too much so I bought those two to even things out but then they took sides and started a war so I bought 3 of those...:lol:

Yeah I don't know...those small sharks are like rats around here...not too pretty either! :lol:
