Tank shots would not show much different except an over-crowded frag rack.

I am moving slowly forward. Been communicating with Roger @ Tunze and am on a search and procure mission for a Tunze 6301. Part of the deal is deciding whether to use the Neptune AquaSurf or the Tunze controller, and I have yet to discuss that with Curt.

Then I need to get some acrylic to build the box. Roger feels that the same footprint as the standard wave box but taller would work well. Since this is experimental, I am going to build the box bigger than that to see what effect it has on flow.

It will be a while. I am very busy with business right now and for the forseeable future.
 
Yeah I saw that one...Thanks! I got a list of "approved" suppliers, but I am trying to wing it with one of the companies I already do business with.
 
Things are going well despite my sending a lot of time taking pics for our business. Alk is steady and water quality is good. Corals are healthy but I still envy some of the more experienced reeferkeepers' high growth rates. I guess that is something I will have to work on this year.

Strange thing is going on right now though, and that is the pumping xenia is all dying off. Sherman and I also noted the the PLTA is getting extremely large. It has good color but the size is a bit shocking...I wonder if it will split?

I am alos getting lots of mini stars in my floss. This is a new problem since I have started mechanically filtering ALL water moving through the sump system, and they are a total PITA to remove from the floss. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
