Ok I have a question i have a mated pair of gsm clowns

I need to know if my 12 nano cube could support them for 3 days. While my 100 gallon cures we are re enforcing the acrylic walls since we noticed a small section begin to bow out in the center of the tank we want to nip that in the bud so to speak before it becomes a bigger problem keep in mind they would only be in the cube while we complete the repair work on the main tank. What I currently have in the cube is lr rubble and power head. The 3 main filter compartments have carbon,ceramic circles, and the 3 black sponge filterpads that came with the cube. I will use the tank water that I took from the main tank the clowns are currently in. Any suggestions are appreciated.

For a short time they'll be fine. Get the repair done correctly so you won't have to do this again. I deally I would just use the nano barebottom with no sand, rock, etc. Just basically a holding tank. Don't be surprised if you clowns get out of the mating mood for a short time.

Get that bigger tank repaired...

If the 12gl isn't cycled and running, I'd pull a few small pieces of LR from the main tank, to use as bio-filtration. Other than that, they should be fine for a few days. If it were a different species, I'd say feed lightly for those few days, so you don't pollute the water, but a hungry female GSM is not a happy fish. I'd hate to be a male GSM stuck in a 12gl with a hungry female.
