Ok, My "perc" is a saddleback... what do I do?

So, my lack of research and trust in the lfs (doh!) even after all this time led me to make a spontaneous purchase:( They advertised as a black perc, and I thought it looked funny, but since i'd never seen black percs I thought maybe they just look different...

Well, it's a saddleback. Now I have 1 juvenile saddleback and 1 juvenile ocellaris in a 12g tank. They seem to like each other, which is odd. And, the saddleback has taken residence in the anemone which is cool... I am upgrading in a couple months to a 36g tank if that makes a difference.

My question, will this last or should I just take this guy back to the lfs? I can't get rid of my ocellaris, Homey the Clownfish. He is our baby.

Thanks,
Angela

The saddleback will likely get substantially larger and they are not always mellow in personality. In me experience they are not picky about the anemone species as you have found.

Longterm you are likely better off separating them and looking for a juvenile ocellaris.
