Have an old tap water filter/DI here free for the taking. Didn't even know I still had it until unpacking more boxes recently. Due to the cost of the resin and how cheap RO/DI units are now, I can't imagine anyone wanting it for primary use. However, I kept it on hand (longer than I thought, because it was supposed to be gone) just in case I had an emergency requiring more than my RO could produce. I have a Kold-Steril filter for backup now (Also left over from before getting the RO), and between my RO resovoir and the holding tank, I doubt I'll even need that.

So, if anyone wants it, is here for picking up free or can bring to the next meeting I make. No clue what other old stuff I'll run into.

Is it just the filter body? I'm assuming there's no resin for it?

There's resin in it, but is old unless someone likes seperating the stuff to recharge. I'm not that motivated

But, I haven't seen it yet but also had a spare bag of resin. If the filter is here, that may be yet too, although just sitting all this time it could be bad too. I don't know if that's possible or not. Will be digging more this weekend though. Need to get things cleaned up.

Can't afford materials for the basement, or tank progress at the moment, so finally getting to all the stuff I've put off since we moved

I moved just before they changed locations. The auctions are now held at the 1000 Islands Nature Center in Kaukauna (used to be the wildlife sanctuary in Green Bay).

Sunday, I think it runs 10-14ish or so?

I'll definitely be going, but mostly trying to clear out some stuff right now due to not really having anything set up! There's usually a little saltwater stuff there, but not too much.

Yah, I'm heading down there some time during the day. The auction starts at 10:30. I've been to the last 6 or so and Fred is rightwhen he says little or no sw. I usually end up getting a bag of supplemnts or a book or two that they had donated by some sw company .

dang scooter I need impellers.
Got anything that would fit a hagen 802? or I doubt youd have the one I need for my berlin pump. The berlin one is weird and has 18 blades although that 1 is working good now.

I didnt know they had an auction there. I dont live far from there. My hubby takes my kid there all the time. She always used to call it the dead animal zoo lol.

I'll look Kass. I never had a Hagen, but Connie did so it's possible. Most likely they are all for Whisper power filters, penguin power heads, and MAG pumps. Still digging for a spare one for the Skilter for Scott and with all these still haven't seen that one either.

Definitely 99% freshwater stuff. Most of the live saltwater stuff is things I would bring...but people always bought them, so I know there's some salties that attend the auction as well!

I'm not a current member (but will be signing up this weekend), but it may be worthwhile to maybe look at integrating a saltwater "group" within the club. The club has been around a long time, and any way you slice it, I've always had fun at the events and auctions. The bigger even is normally held in the spring...

Anyway, if you guys are going, I'll definitely see you there. We should be there fairly early, probably around 9-9:30 or so.
