It's been a really strange winter here. Mosses and some forms of grasses never went brown. I don't know if winter is really over, (I don't think it is), but most of my bulbs and tubers are popping up.
Yeah I am a bit worried about my perinials... Many of my bulbs are also well on their way and have been for WEEKS! The day lilly plants started pushing up in January and many other plants in my beds never really went fully dormant. I have about 200 tulips to plant (did not get around to it the the fall... Maybe I should go out now and stuff em in?
I'm pretty much thinking he was a captive audience at that point.
I know what you're saying Bean. I have a fenced in area whare my generator is. It has a block heater in it and the area stays about a zone south of normal. I have a ninebark still in the pot that never lost it's leaves. I'm really wondering what I'm gonna loose.
Looks like a fashion statement to me... the tree's are just following the trend. Have you seen all the young ladies with thin feathers woven into their hair? First time I saw it I thought it was unique and then I swear the same week I saw every adolescent and their mother have it. At least it's popular here in the North East. =\
