It's NOT like she has no clue, because she is as involved as I am! She's also the one that DEMANDED the tank at least be set up instead of waiting until the basement is finished. (amazing how finish work slows down when you have to walk past a tank over and over, and standing there is more fun)

Now, I KNOW it's a small thing, but got tired of never being able to find white vinegar when I needed it to clean something. So, got a small bottle designated just for the tank equipment room, and refilled from the kitchen as needed.

Well, my Orp probe looks like, umm, needing cleaning Went to grab the vinegar, and can't find it. I asked Connie if she had seen it, and got "Oh, yeah. We ran out and I needed to clean the coffee pot".

We have this agreement at our house... everything is in the house for the fish tanks first... and all other uses are secondary. I was so happy whem my daughter was born, I got all kinds of new bottle brushes....Got new tupperware, of course, that's for transporting frags.

Scooter, I feel sorry for Kass, could Connie just pickup her stuff for her, it'd save Kass the whole day... Just kidding.

Actually I went to Bay park square tonight AND saw a Menards in GB and stopped there and did'nt even get lost once lol.
Geez they want 8 bucks for some stupid eggcrate? I looked at floodlights but did'nt get anything yet still not sure.

I'd love for Connie to pick up the stuff for me (poor Connie the gopher lol) but my kid was looking fwd to going to Jons with me.
I dunno why she likes to get lost lol. Actually she helps me get unlost.

speaking of the kid thing when we went to Rhinelander I wanted some of those buckets from the IO salt with covers and my hubby was'nt to happy cuz we did'nt have room.
We had to put them between the 2 kids in the back and they fought all the way home pushing them into each other.
BUT when our well broke and I needed water from the neighbors they came in handy lol.

Yes I never bought the buckets of salt always the bags lol. I got my first bucket last week.

Kass, would love too, but better give the chaeto time to recover or grab some from wherever you can. In my wirlwind "get caught up on the tank" weekend I discovered my chaeto didn't look too good. Investigation discovered my fuge light was out. Since it's on an opposing light schedule I just fell into a habit of not seeing it on and didn't notice I don't think it's been out long and all will recover just fine, but will be a bit.

It's stuck with just a shop light until I decide what to do for lights myself now. Since my "box-o-fishstuff" had a lot of left over 65w PCs I've been using them but out now. Not sure if I want to buy replacements or got with something from Menards. Since I'm ordering replacement bulbs for the MH next week will probably just buy the PCs this time and make a decision later

If mine doesn't recover, I'll be needing some too

Although, right now I think it's overkill and half my problem too. A 200 gal. with a skimmer the size I have, ozone, refugium, and even now just 4 fish and few other things doesn't amount to many nutrients left for anything in the fuge to remove and grow. As the tank is stocked (no clue how long that will be, since way past the original goal already) I'm sure I'll need to harvest more instead

yeah, this stuff seems hard to kill and just grows like crazy.

i actually got my original ball-o-cheato from a user on here about a year ago and havent looked back. She was even kind enough to throw in some live sand and a colt coral frag which has grown quite considerably since.

So, anyway, if you need some let me know, it needs pruning often and I am down to Brillion often as the in laws live in Reedsville.

If this stuff makes it though, I'll soon be back to the same problem myself and wont need any at all Had a few different macros in the fuge, some are gone now, some seem fine, and the chaeto just hanging in there. With everything pruned, and light there again, will see how it does.
