Okay Todd,

I did it tonight, went and got a baby female Blue Jaw for my SPS reef. I just put her in so she's hiding for now, but I'll get a pic as soon as I can. If she becomes a terror I'll be calling on you. :)

Guess this means, my basement needs to get into full swing! :D

LOL! Yeah, Rachel had her little party and I went to SeaScape! Sage said that they had her for about 2 months, everyone wants the Males, so she gave me a good deal on her. :)

Cool, I can get any ornery fish out, just get my tiny hook and some tippet. I hope she works for you though.

lol I went there and bought the Tiger Jaw Fish and two Two Spot Gobies (for the Seahorse tank). Ran into the new guy, Stu, from John's meeting there as well. He made the comment about being spontaneous and spending money. I told him that Sage and Jim love it when we are spontaneous ;=).

I really want to get a Trigger (after seeing the Crosshatch in the Tank of the month) but I think with my current bioload that it would be too much. What are your opinons? BTW, I do have the go ahead for a 300 gallon but, it would have to be the right deal. I am not going to go to debters prison where I would not be able to enjoy it. If I find the right deal, then I'd go for it.

Sweet!!! Sage has a small Sargassum for 120 that would look great and should be a model citizen... It's still small so bioload shouldn't be a factor, but you've got plenty of room to add more live rock in your sump if you needed it. :)

Can't wait to see what you find for a 300 gallon. I think I'm going to actually build my own tank in the basement when it get's finished. Glass seems to be very affordable (other than starphire) so think I'm going to go that route when the time comes. Probably 72x48x24 360g but may 84x48x24 418g... I'll be looking for you to help me build a steel frame for the bottom and top of the tank, I don't trust silicone alone. :) Priced the glass on glasscages.com (I hope I can beat that locally) but based on those prices tank should be under 600 bucks to build!

Just to make sure.. You are talking about a blue spot jawfish right?

If so.... and.... if she doen't work out...... I have a 29 gal thank that would be all hers.

Eric, how is your Trigger doing. You don't have any missing inverts do you? lol Has she come out of hiding yet?

She's doing good so far, came out of hiding last night and ate some mysis, hasn't touched anything else yet. :)

She's in my 120...the only thing about it is that this fish does not have a red tail like other sargassum I see diving. I used to own one but it outgrew my 46 way back in the day.

My niger trigger wouldn't come out of hiding for anything, including food, until I put a yellow tang (about the same size as the trigger) into the tank. He hasn't hide since.... Some reefers told me his was just scared until he saw another big fish in my tank.
