Not me, my bio-load is right where I want it. Well for now anyway.

Cmon Todd! Havent you read the latest trend? There is better growth and colors in corals if you have a heavy biolad. Thats if your husbandry and equiptment is good. Im actually being serious here bud. Too clean of a tank is not good. Im not gonna do it but it seems thats the fashion I have been reading.

Guess I don't have to worry about that, do I? lol

I snoozed and Eric L. beat me too it. Nice score Eric.

Russ, with the amount of food I feed my fish I'm thinking my tank is plenty dirty. Well a little dirty. I believe that if you have to clean your glass once a week, you have just the right amount of nutrients in there. At least it has been working for me.

Here is your image Eric.

By the way Eric, that is a beautiful trigger. Is that your old one or your new one. I think that is a male in the pic. The male have a little red on their tails.

Might be sooner than I hope, I came home tonight and she had some scrapes on her head... I hope I don't have too much rock work for her... :( I see if she recovers or gets worse. If she keeps banging into stuff she might be headed your way Russ.

Thanks Todd...that is the new one. From my research though these fish are not sexually dimorphic (unlike bluejaws). Most likely this fish is or Jamaican or Dominican origin as they tend to have less to no red in their tails.

Here's some updated shots that I've been promising for too long. :D

Here she is hiding when I first got her...

That is definitely a cool fish in a reef! You guys have me thinking that I want one now. I guess if I happen on to one, I will give it a try.

Well if any of you were doubting that you can remove a fish from your tank with a hook instead of a net you should have been at my place yesterday... :) Fish traps are a thing of the past and there was no way to get a net in the tank. Todd came up with hook in hand and in about 2 minutes had my trigger in a bag for transport. :D She's been just perfect in my tank, but the bio load was causing a diatom bloom so it was time. She's happy in the 75 she's in now, and over the next few months will be upgraded to a RR125.

I didn't believe it until I saw her fly across the room. It was amazing that a hook that small works!

Todd, what test is the line? Rod type? Dod you use a steel leader? Bait type? Do you need a special stamp for the fishing license? When is the season? Is it just catch-and-release?
