OKC Zoo behind the scenes

The september meeting is an informal tour around the aquatic area of the zoo. This is a pretty interesting tour and is worth going on to see how large instsitutions deal with the same issues we have.

The group size is limited, so please...if you would like to join in, sign up in thethread at the top of the forum.

until we hit 50, a single membership card entitles a single person access.

Its unlikely we will hit 50, So I will most probably open the list to guests, be they spouses or children.

I volunteered here trying to get into upper aquaticus- they didnt have days I could do it around school. But- I did manage to sneak and look behind the scenes in lower aquaticus where all the reef tanks are. Its very cool!! They have these two HUGE metal halides over the big reef tank.
