OM Super Squirt Noise

I made a post in Lighting filtration etc but only got one response specifically regarding the noise and he said himself he could be wrong due to a possible motor change.

So my question is do these things make more noise than the sequence dart that goes with it will? Can it be drowned out by a small fan? Most importantly will it keep me up at night? (5-6ft from my bed)

i have an OM squirt and a 4-way on seperate ... i can hear neither of them

The OM products themselves are very quiet... almost silent. The pumps and other equipment will be much louder.

I've had a squirt for over a year. It is not in any enclosure (i.e., it is open to the air in a laundry room).

It may be that mine is just a loud one, but the motor that directs water flow is definitely not silent. It makes a constant, low frequency buzzing sound for sure. It is not real loud, but I wouldn't want it in my bedroom unless it were enclosed in a noise-silencing box of some kind.
