I keep thinking that I have made my decision on lighting and then I hear about another issue or bad review or another shinny object. I thought I wanted to get the t5s then someone said it could lead to tank heat issues. Then i almost bought the giesmann auroras for 3200 dollars and they said no returns if I don't like them. Im thinking of the reefbreeders, biggest reason is logan he actually will talk to you and offerd me 30 day money back if i don't like them. Which i wont need a week should be good. I am contemplating radion g4 pros but thats more than double the reebreeders. Cant get anyone with experience to say if they are twice as good as the others. One thing I have learned in my 51 years is that people who buy really expensive stuff will say they are the best even if they really aren't. For example the stupid adjustable beds u pay a ton of money for them and my gf had one but i hated it but she thought it was the best thing ever. Sorry for rambling

I took the RB back and went radion G3 pro. I don't need the extra spread that the G4 gives and the extra 15 watts I believe it offered over the G3 pro.

RB just didn't do it for me. Happy I went radion. Hope that helps a little.

That helps a lot thank you. I dont mind spending the money but for those prices it better be WOWW what a difference not just ok

For me it was a WOW!!!!! Difference. Radions are just another level of lighting. I've been in the hobby 20+ years and gone through all of the lighting that has come with time, and imo Radions was the biggest leap in lighting along with T5's.

Spend the extra cash, you will be happy you did!

Thanks, I am waiting for a total price from a friend of mine on them. I am planning on putting 5 one over each pannel on my tank probably over kill but I want this tank to be the cats meow

Thanks, hope so right now my tank is cycling and i checked my phosphates yesterday it was .50 so I have sometime
 
So I finally made a decision on my lights, I went with 2 48 inch ATI t5 led hybrids will post pictures soon as i get them mounted

I started my avast marine biopellet reactor today with 3 cups of brs pellets lets see what happens.

My phosphates are still at 19 switched out my gfo media not sure how long to run it, before changing when i am trying to get this high number down
 
I am curious to see how the lights look. I was in the same boat, found a great deal on a used Kessil ap700, sure hope I like it. With Kessil, I worry you don't get nice spread without some T-5 to illuminate evenly. Man I wish my light would arrive. Great build.
 
I have two kessil 360 on my 75 gal and they were really nice i was going to get 3 more of those and do the retrofit t5 fixtures in my canopy but I wanted to have an all in one
