Omg they did it!

Clowns101 gets a lot of credit since he gave me some great advice!
Here's a few things that I think encouraged them...

1. Temperature at 82F
2. Appropriate spawning site - a rock (I wasted like $5 on a pot! :mad2: )
3. Wide variety of foods (live brine shrimp, rod's food, squid, mysis)
4. Happiness :love2:

Here's the video!

I'll post lots of HD pics of the eggs tomorrow. The lights are out on the tank right now and the male is sleep-fanning! :D

She still looks super super fat. Do you think she might lay more eggs tomorrow? Does that ever happen? I've heard of half the eggs hatching one night, then the other half hatching the next.

Cool and congrats. How old are you? your voice sounds like your going through puberty haha.

Are you going to try and raise them?

That is my ultimate goal with my oynx pair is to raise atleast one clutch. Just to say i was able to accomplish it.

Pics

Is it OK if the anemone's column touches the eggs? Are the eggs anemone proofed?

The eggs will be fine with the anemone. Dont be surprised if they eat the first few clutches until they get the hang of things.

Come on guys. Its obviously sounds like someone a bit younger than most of us on here and they are super excited. Which I think is really cool to an extent. You can tell they are really into it. Congratulations on your pair spawning.
