Omg !!!!!

I think we all have a pretty good idea what it means when a poster drops a thread  I lost them all at 12 days in one massive die off. There were less than 20 alive that morning and they didn't make it thru the day. The funny thing was the 20 livies seemed just fine, swimming and eating and not looking the least bit stressed. Water did show some ammonia but no more than I am used to in larval tanks. The pair did not lay again for almost 3 weeks and I was on vacation for that hatch. I just got back last night and they have not set down a new nest yet. If the next hatch I catch is like that I will pull out a few hundred and focus on those, not try to raise the whole brood.

ouch! sorry to hear it. kinda like the old days of seahorse raising frustrations, isn't it? good luck with the next brood.

Another nest laid on the 13th, not as large as the "big one". I have tomato's hatching tonight, ocellaris hatching in 3 days and then the maroons in 3 more. Gonna get busy around here :D

David,

Ok, good luck with al of these hatches. Keep the updates coming please.

Steve
