OMS Website...its up!!!

omahamarinesociety.com is up and ready for all to start using. Please keep in mind that it is a work in process but in my opinion Derek did an awesome job setting it up. I would encourage you to use the forums, I think we have all covered. I also want to invite the stores to post in there store specific forums, we created this so you can promote your store inventories, prices and specials without fear of you link being stopped. this should be a great way for us to share info. As with any open forum we encourage all to be polite and friendly and make it a positive for all. We do have moderators to eliminate any posts that contain fowl language or inapropriate content. So sign in and enjoy.
 
This may be because I am a Mac user, but is anyone else getting errors when trying to read the posts on the forum?
 
I get an error page on the one post in the vendor area.

Suggestion for the forums, I think we need a general discussion area for all talk not related to the specific topics already listed.
Otherwise, looks great so far! Good job!

I'm not having any problem reading the posts. Did you sign up as a member? Don't know if that has anything to do with it but it seems to be working for me. Also, any news on the equipment swap/sell? Karen
 
I was able to post but not make read the 2 disussions that posts that were already there. I did sign up a day or two ago before the forum was actually live so maybe that is the problem for the two exisiting threads.

Sorry about the problems with the site this morning. I am trying to finish up some of the final details and many of you were using the site while I was making the changes which caused you the errors. The forums should be good and functional now but please let me know any problems you encounter.

I agree the website does look good and is working quite well. Hopefully everyone will migrate there in the next few days.

this is what happens when you are in a hurry and up late, you offend the poultry people...please post all of your poultry questions in the lounge.
 
Well now before anybody starts running around like a chicken with their head cutoff and I dont gobble up this conversation I figured Id thank everyone for their patience waiting for the site to be up. Now you can fly the coupe and waddle on over to the forums at www.omahamarinesociety.com
Now please form a single file line behind the head penguin and lets all cackle like hens till the rooster crows at midnight.
