After I let my tank work over with the CUC I've got goin, I'd like to add a couple of clowns. Its a 29g bio cube and has 20lbs of live rock and prob 3 in of live sand.

My question(s) is: Is it absolutely ness for clowns to have an anemone to play in? Is my tank big enough for an anemone?

No its not necessary for clowns to have anemones and yes your tank is large enough for a bubble anemone. Just make sure you read up on their care etc.

no its not. I would recommend against the anemone because they will get big. I breed clowns nd they don't host anything

you can substitute an anemone with alot of other lps and they will be perfectly happy. depending on which species of clown you go with I would recommend occs or clarkies or percs because they are smaller in size.

Does the bubble anemone not get as big as any other? Are clowns happier you think with an anemone?

The bubble tip anemone can get as big as other anemones but in some cases they split to form two so they don't get as big. I have 2 ocellaris clowns in my 29 gallon biocube and one hosts the mag-float and the other hosts in a frogspawn. I would not recommend getting an anemone unless you upgrade your lighting. Look into frogspawns, hammers, they look similar to anemones and clowns will sometimes host them.

Now when a clown hosts a coral, anemone, or the mag-float on the tank glass; thats when he pretty much just stays on or around that coral or whatever it may be?

Yep the other pain to is that anems like to move so if you wanna keep coral the RBTA may wind up stinging things stick with a coral like a hammer torch or frogspawn.

I was reading into frogspawn and hammer coral, they are sweet. Do they get as big as reg anemones? Can you cut them and move'em if they do get bigger?

Yes, you can frag those, and the benefit is they don't move.
Awesome, thanks dav
