one 6205 or two 6105's

I have a 220 gallon reef Mostly LPS and a few SPS corals. I am running two 6105's using a 7092 controller. I'm running on the "Pulse power" mode with both 6105's on one end as it states in the instructions. My question is would I accomplish the same thing using one 6205 since it is almost 2x's as powerful. It would be nice to get rid of some of the hardware in the tank.What would be the pro's for keeping two 6105's? Thanks

No, the 6205 flow is short and wide, about 5.5 ft by 3ft, the 6105 flow is 7ft by 2ft. In general I don't like less than 2 pumps, you need some redundancy in case one fails and needs to be repaired.

Thanks so I'll keep what I have. I've noticed that one of my pumps, an older version I'm assuming is a bit loud, 60% and up. When I remove it from the clamp it is quiet as can be. My new pump has what looks like 4 rubber mounts that attach to the magnet, can I buy that for my older pump? both have the round magnets. Thanks
