One camera system -which one?

There are four cameras at home now. Two digital P&S. One 35mm SLR (Nikon F75). I plan to get a DSLR (Nikon D50) real soon, when I receive my tax refund. Many have said "I still keep my 35mm film camera and use it on some occasions."

If you have both cameras, I like to know what "occasions" would I want to shoot film if I have a DSLR camera system?

Hey man,

I have a canon EOS (an old film) camera that I never use. I have a nikon d50 and that's all i use. i think the only time you use film is if you are really dedicated to it or have a particular preference for the way it renders something in particular (like skintone). If you aren't really picky and haven't been using film for a long time, then I doubt you'll ever use your old film camera...

After all, most of us aren't ridin' around on horses...
