i have a pair of snowflakes and an H. magnifica anemone. and the female hosts but the male only sometimes will host with her. the other times he's on the oposite side of the tank. they always stayed together before she started hosting. will he eventually host? is this a bad sign? thanks!

the female hosts all the time. and the male hosts a lot also but the male always wonders off and hangs out on the other side of the tank for about ten minutes and then he will go back for a while.

She will let him host with her eventually give it time. Clownfish tend to have up-n-down relationships.

+1 reefdavaj16 - granted mine have only been in since saturday but she (im guessing its the she) has kicked him out of the nem.. He musta spent to much $ on his reef tank ;)..

She lets him in at night only right now, but for most the day he hangs out around the nem and sneaks in and hides every once in a while, until she sees him then he scoots.. its pretty funny to watch.. My thought is if she is letting him in at night it cant be all that bad.
