One Clown Two Clown?

No not a new DR Seuss book.. But what are the pros and cons of keeping one clown fish versus two? Are they happier as a pair, does it matter at all, are they more aggressive as a pair? I am looking at adding a Clarki just can't decide between 1 or 2?

My exp w/ Clarkis especially get territorial once they mature and spawn, but me personally I enjoy clowns as a pair.
My decision would be a less aggressive pair if not set on a clarki, but that's me

I vote for a pair.
I have a pair of Clarkii in my 125. I love the fish.
I also just got a second Cinnamon for my reef. Hate the first one in the tank. Maybe a mate will make her less aggressive.

IME, two clowns are more aggressive once they pair up and can become territorial. That might be a problem, if you have peaceful fish that can't hold their own.

Thanks, Still undecided. I really want the enjoyment of a clown and anemone. I have a 105 with a Starry Blenny, Goby Pistol combo, small blue neon goby, a single perc clown that would be moved out based on my new clown purchase and a 1 inch yellow eye kole. If bio load wise permits I might add a royal gramma but the clown or clowns would be my final fish additions. Also I was attracted to the Clarki for two reasons. 1. I don't see them much everyone has the percs and the false percs and osc etc.. 2. I thought the clarki would be the easiest to combine with my BTA?

So anymore thought on pros and cons of 1 vs 2 is appreciated.
