one month after the upgrade to an 850gal reef

I was linked to this topic to see an amazing tank and I am sure from the other replies that it is remarkable but I don't see any pictures anywhere...the browser stops loading and there are no pics anywhere.

What am I doing wrong?

Well I found your website and the tank is amazing. I cannot believe that can even be done. If it weren't so rude I would ask how much it set you back but I have some idea in my head and don't blame you for not telling.

It is amazing. I think you could charge people to see it and make a killing (if it didn't mean them trapsing through your house all the time). :)

Anything new ??

Anything new ??

Ive seen the website has a few new changes ,but is there any new pics of equipment room, Is the 160 gallon water change tank still in front of equipment room or did you move to new location.
Also you have no refiguim just a sump, no live rock or anything??
Thanks benn following along since the start.

The tank sadly had an unhappy ending :-(

crashed last year, if I recall correctly. I saw a pic with all the equipment removed from his garage.

True......the tank had an unfortunate event that killed off all the sps around March of 2007. Shortly after this event, I decided to accept a business contract that necessitated my being out of town for nearly a year. This meant breaking down all my tanks. That contract is now finished and I'm currently planning the next version of the system. It will be something in the 1500 to 2000 gallon range for a reef..... and a cold system in the 400 gal range. I will probably start it up in the Spring of 09. Right now, I'm just enjoying a low Visa and PGE bill while it lasts.

Steve:
Your tank has kept my reef tank flame burning. And to know you will be doing a better, bigger tank is a dream for all of us to wait and see and vision. It is unfathomable to think theres a better way, But we all know if theres somebody that can do it its you.
I have used your tank pics for backgrounds since you built it. Hope its ok :eek1: I just moved into my new house and my tank is in the garage waiting for me to build it into the house. It is a 160 gallon corner bow front. This is the tank in the house i was renting.

I will be selling it or trading it for a rectangle tank 300 gallon is the size Im hoping for. And to put in my new house I own now and put in the dining room. And build the equipment room to the left in the garage.

The Oregon Reef will be the guide lines behind it. I have struggled to get my reef dream going with many failed attempts but I'm going to go at it again this time with all my might. Looking foward to seeing yours again.

Thanks again for the inspiration and continued inspiration.
(sorry for bad spelling)

I'm currently expanding my cold system to 400 gals. Envision will have the new cold tank and sump done in 4 to 6 weeks. If things go well, I hope to re-enter warm water reefkeeping by year's end.

I can't see or find any of the pictures that everybody is gawking over. :( Did something happen to your host site?

....nevermind, found them. I've seen this one b4!

Can't wait to see some updates.. very impressive.. Does the power company think you are running a grow-op in your house? lol

Awesome news Steve. Your tank was one of the ones that got me interested in reefkeeping. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with next. Your aquascaping was second to none.
