2 b+w false perc's - have had them 6 months and until today doing just great. the larger of the two seems listless this morning and didn't take food which (she?) normally does with gusto.... not moving around alot just hanging mid-tank with mate staying nearby - seems to be panting ... salinity and all other tests are good. ideas?

try feeding garlic or cyclopeeze to entice your fish to eat. How long has it been? If your parameters are ok then I would give it a couple of days.

Is there any change in her apparence? Does her coloration look a little "faded" or washed out? Are there any marks or spots on her? Does her poop look funny?

just tried the cyclopeeze - everyone eating except her. And yes her color looks faded. haven't been able to analyze poop as haven't seen it. just noticed this today

brought in water for testing to my LFS --- salinity was way high... my cheap hydrometer to blame. Did a huge h20 change, added some freshwater and within a half hour clown was gobbling up food and swiming around... time to invest in that refracotmeter. Anyone have suggestions on the best brands? Seems like there are so many on the market from $50 - $200 plus.... thanks

The last sick fish I'd would drag itself out from hiding when I put cyclopeeze in and after nipping a bit then would go back to hiding.
