I have had a 2 inch onespot foxface in quarantine for 3 weeks, he appears to be completely healthy( no stringy poop, eating vary well) and I read that parasites such as ich will show themselves in 3 weeks. I would like to move him to the main tank as I that he is not getting enough food do to my quarantine tanks protien skimmer breaking and me reducing feeding to very small amounts becuase of it( I won't be able to get another skimmer for a week) also he is starting to be picked on by the resident ocsellarius clown pair and I fear that he may either end up dead or spike a clownfish. Should I move him over to the DT now or bite the bullet untill next week?

how big is your qt? would it be feasible to add a piece of egg crate to separate him from the clowns? three weeks isn't long enough, i would not put him in the dt yet.

that's a pretty tiny fish. i'd use the egg crate to separate them. he's already stressed being in a new environment and if the clowns start punching him around, he won't do well.
