This thread is to keep a running tally on those who are interested in the online purchase that was PMed about. There are 4 other people interested at least so I would rather not keep up with it in PMs.

The order will be going in Wednesday or Thursday of next week.

As I said in the PM the items I am looking at getting will run about $50 so we only need $50 more to get free shipping. I would place the order myself and get the items shipped to my office, then we could all meet up individually from there.

Just put up what you want and I will keep an ongoing list to see if we can meet the $100 goal.

I wouldn't mind maybe 3-4 astria snails, if that makes a good round number. I know they're sold in certain quantities, so work with it or don't... In other words, I'd like a few, but if it doesn't work out well with the numbers other people want, I can do without. I really don't NEED them.

If we can get $100 total ordered then the order will go in tonight or tomorrow. I really don't think we will put the order in if we have to pay for freight, so don't be afraid about putting up your list then being stuck paying the freight if we don't get enough people.

Maybe this is out of place, but w/e: Try to imagine yourself as the person coordinating the group buy... your post is a nightmare. Give simple lists of what you want, no "ifs" and "maybes." Not trying to be harsh, just honest. :wildone:

I'm just trying to be flexible, in case somebody says they just want 2 snails or something. I'm not that picky about the quantity at all.

Ok guys, I have been looking around on Reefs2go.com after being reminded that they are a club sponsor. I hadn't come across their site in my search, so I never considered them.

Their prices seem to be better on some items than Reeftopia but a little higher on some others.

First, their "Free Shipping" target is $150, but I will just pay the shipping myself since I am changing it up like this. So wether we get to $150 or not, you guys wont be paying anything for freight.

I hate to delay the order more than the 1 day that I already have, but I want to give others a chance to look at their selection to see if they want anything.

Steve I understand you want some Nass. snails. Spencer has some he is try to part with I believe so if you'd prefer to get them through him that means you wont have to place the order with us. Just an option.

I found out that I have three red mithrax in the live rock I just got with a tank yesterday, so I will wait on getting more crabs. I'm also going to hold off on the snails.

Ok, my update:

50 blue leg hermits are BOGO (.59 x 25 = 14.75)

I'm going to hold off on the rest of the stuff for now.

No discount that I am aware of. They're the ones who provided the gift certificates that are going to be raffled off next month.

I'm kind of hoping the more we do with them the more they will recognize the club and might give us perks down the road.

My list got a LOT longer with their selection, so I'm around $100 for my stuff alone, and may add an anenome.

Several times I have been told by Dana to put more :spin1: in so people will know that I having fun. The "paying the shipping" thing was something that started a year or so ago. It is attempt to "give back to the members".
