Onyx and Ocellaris questions?

LFS has a standard Onyx and standard Ocellaris (about the same size - 2"... not the small ones but not large either). Both are Sustainable Aq.

If I introduced them at the same time to a 75g, are they likely to pair up? What issues might I face?

Would a Black Ice and Onyx at 2" be better?

Thx, just want to avoid issues but would "like" the opposite patterns together if possible.

You can mix these species, but I'd suggest getting two of different sizes. If they're both two inches, they're probably female, or on their way to being female. Your odds of getting a pair will be much better with fish of different sizes.
