Sometimes there are half and hals where there is black between just hte first and second stripes.

The other relatively more rare and stunning ones are really dark black between all bands. Just gorgeous. They can look similar to Rods

I have a pair of the wild caught onyx, from the LFS christie works at. When I first got them, they weren't completely black, but they are slowly but surely filling in. The difference between mine and the ones in the video, mine the dorsal fins are completely orange, not black like the ones in the vid.

For the price though, If I was going to do it again, I would probably contact rod. When I got mine, i checked his site, but it hadn't been updated in a long long time, and nobody seemed to have any current info if he had a batch ready.

i just bought a pair of onyx clownfish from rod and they are beautiful and healthy. i am in love with these clowns.
