I bought these clowns from a guy who was getting out of the hobby a few months ago. They are roughly 6 months old.

Do the bars variant greatly with these clowns like pictured, or will they match more as they get older?

The difference in onyx and true percs are onyx has black shirts black pants as Boyaah would say and true percs has black shirts orange pants.

Both my onyx are misbarred and my true percs are misbarred so barring has nothing to do with true perc to onyx perc

I have no clue when it comes to the in depth part of clowns and their barring. Along with certain kinds.

I was just curious, because on the other side of the smaller one (right one) there is no white spot near his caudal fin.

The female will keep her middle bar the way it is.The tail bars should continue to form until the fish are about 2 years old.The female is Onyx. The male is TruePerc he might color up more though. The way I tell about Onyx is the Black just behind the middle bar.If it is well defined it probably will not go Onyx.If the black has NO distinct edge{Black kinda faded into orange} it will be Onyx.Do you know who raised them?
