OOdinium not treatable?

Well, I have had a hippo tang in a hospital tank with cupramin for 3 weeks. Removed the cupramin with cuprisorb.

A few days later. My Hippo tang has spots and a white film on him again while other fish are doing great in the same hospital.

Also I read somewhere that copper will not kill encysted forms of oodinium?? Not sure about this? Also fish can develop immunity to oodinium. So some of my fish which seem unaffected are possibly carriers? Any experienced folks gone through this one?

Interesting what did you keep the copper level at?

Hi. Kept the copper level at .5 on the salifert test using cupramin.

Thanks for responding, I see your also in the midst of dealing with cupramin and hospital tanks. It would be good to get your input on this.
