open brain changing colors?

I have an awesome brain. It was a nice deep red when I bought it about 2 months ago (central disc is a nice neon green). in the past 2 weeks, the outer red has started to have some neon green appear. Is this normal? or should I be getting concerned?

I'd a 50 gallon flat hex with a radeon for lighting if it makes any difference.

I've got some frogspawn which is splitting like it's the end of the world (3 branches in the process of splitting into 7 and another 6-8 minuscule heads have started to grown out of the sides of the stalks), and my anemone has never been so big. I've got zero ammonia, 0 nitrites and 10 nitrates.

Different lighting can definitley change the color of a coral even when all other conditions are similar.

I read somewhere that open brains color is based on depth. The shallower(more light) they are found the more green/blue there is(mine is this way) and the deeper(less light) the darker they are(reds, purples). If you want it to stay dark you could maybe put it in a half shaded area.
