In Memoriam
everything in my tank is FINE... my frogspawn's mytrumpet. my ricordia. my montipora. my hyrdophora (spelling.. its an sps)

everything is fine

EXCEPT my green open brain
the past few weeks he had brown spots. ( his coloration changed) then today the spots that were brown are whiteish clear...

wth happend.. i moved him up in the rocks a bit ( was on sand bed) hoping it would help but.. i dunno.
any ideas? looks like bleaching to me but why. and why did he turn brown first he is still mostly neon green btw. this is just maybe 1/4 of him total that is white/clear

also my clown host this .. could that tbe the reason?

I would remove it from the rocks as the flesh of the coral could be irritated from the sharp points of the rocks. It sounds as if it is bleaching. Try to place it back on the sand bed in a shady spot. Try to spot feed it after a few days with cyclopeeze or mysis.

i usualy just give him a whole silverside and he takes it

yeah im awar of the rock hurting him. thats why i placed it where the flesh cant touch the rock

I would still move him to the sand. it is hit or miss but the best suggestion IMO right now to do. Best of luck with the coral, keep us posted.
