open brain's mouth is open...why?

i purchased an open brain on monday. so far so good. some stuff suddenly got blown around him...he shrunk a bit and his mouth opened a good bit. the mouth is closing now. i'm just wondering what this means. was he just ****ed off?

damn, he's closed up quite a bit since. still has color...just closed up with mouth open slightly.

Mine does that only at times something in the tank walkes on him or touches him. I think it is to expel water from inside of him. He will eventually puff back up again. So there is nothing to worry about.
