Hey all,
I'm in sort of a predicament here, but first of all the tank parameters.
1. How old is this aquarium? 1 year, but the fish in question are 2 years old
3. What is SG of this aquarium? How measured? 1.026 with a refractometer calibrated with a 1.026 solution
4. When was the last fish added to this aquarium? 4 Months ago
5. Was it quarantined? If so, how? And how long? Was it prophylactically treated? How? It was quarantined with copper, 1 month.
8. Please describe in detail, the appearance of the fish? If there is one or more pimples, are they lumpy? What color? The appearance of the fish looks perfectly fine, minus some whitish stuff on his lips, pics after.
9. Please describe the behavior of the fish as best you can. Is it acting reclusive? Is it always up towards the top of the aquarium? Is it avoiding light? How active is the fish? The current fish in question was perfectly fine for the past 2 years, eating a ton. Suddenly one day she stopped eating, and breathing a little faster each day, and her mouth is constantly open and a little swollen.
10. Is the fish eating? What?
I was feeding a mix between LRS Reef Frenzy and LRS Fish Frenzy each day, before the fish stopped eating.
So after that's out of the way, I will mention that this is the second time this has happened in a month. The first occurrence was with my female maroon on June 15, one day she stopped eating and I thought to be a little weird as she wouldn't leave the anemone at all, and the only thing I could see was her mouth being open and the tiniest bit of whiteness around it. I took a few pictures and some video of the first day that she stopped eating. I posted looking for a little help because her not eating was definitely a drastic change overnight and was told that she looked like she might have been stung in the mouth and to wait it out.

24 hours later I took another video because her condition worsened and she was having trouble swimming and she had left the anemone.

Very shortly after that, she passed.
A month later, after showing no real signs of anything during the time, my smaller clown is now experiencing the same symptoms, albeit he's lasting longer as it's been 3 days of him not eating, but his lips look a little whitish and swollen, and stopped even looking at the food, while his daily behavior has switched from 100% in the anemone to half the day hiding under a rock and half the day in the anemone. I feel my first problem may not have just been a sting. To note, no other inhabitants in the tank look to be taking any of these effects which are, royal gramma, blue/green chromis, yellow tang.
Any questions/clarifications or advice and I'll be very appreciative, thanks.
