opinion on skilter

any opinion on skilter filters? Ive been workin at torrance state hospital way to long, all my marine brains left me. Needing a refresher course on everything anyone have the time lol I pay good money.

I think I would go with an airstone skimmer before I'd invest in a Skilter. Yes......(in the way back when) I tried and used both of these, and actually the wood airstone outperformed the Skilter and was a lot more quiet. I tried to use the Skilter on my first very small nano reef and in the end just used it as a box filter to hold my carbon bag.
