Saw this on ebay. sounds good to me but I am just a rookie on this sorta stuff. what do your pros think. I do need a ro/di system.

i use the typhoon III from air water ice its the 5 stage. hopefully someone has used it and can chime in.

I contacted airwaterice and got replys back from walter...but could not get any straight answers to simple questions like "how much will the things you recommend cost me". Was pretty disappointed that I could not simply call them on the phone and had to deal with them via email........

Oh yeah. good info. The company on ebay is Filter Direct Co. 714-953-9009. the ebay page seems to be very imformative. Does anyone have this setup? Thanks.

I have used these ro/di units for years now. They are good units. Filter direct is a good company to deal with also. The unit is made by water general. I am on well water, but i get over 1 year out of the filters before they need service (new cartridges). They sell a unit that is 6 stage i believe, and comes with a pressure tank. Look for that deal if they have it. The pressure tank is really good to have, it saves a ton of time.

I have used their 6 stage 80gpd unit for several years and am very happy with it. Also installed one down at my moms house a year ago, no problems.
