Optical sensor not working

My optical sensor on my 3155 just stopped working. I've tried cleaning it and it still doesn't work. If I turn off the osmolator it pumps the initial 10 seconds and then stops even if the waterline is below the sensor. What can I do to remedy this?

what happens when you lift the manual float ?

If you are referring to the white float switch that sounds an alarm when the water gets too high that's exactly what happens when I move that

If you send it in we can replace the sensor, if it is less than 2 years old it would be a warranty repair.

My Optical on my 3155 quit working last week after about 18months of use. I cleaned it lightly and it worked for a couple of days. I removed it completely and soaked in a solution of H2O and Vinegar for an hour and wiped it clean. Talk about WORLD of difference.... works like a charm again.
