ORA Blue Tort vs Vivid Blue Tort

I know TTIWWP but is there a difference in these two corals. I have them both and they seem to be turning into the same animal. Anyone else have both of these and see a difference? I'll get some pics tomorrow. I forgot my camera.

well a tort is a tort no matter where you get it from. You have the same coral but one was grown at ORA and the other was grown at Vivid. they might have a slight difference, but pretty much the same thing

when I bought the vivid it actually looked different but it has now become the same. I guess I was hoping for a difference like I see with my oregon tort vs the blue torts. slight difference in body color and polyps.

I could not agree less.. Sorry.
A tort is not a tort, In fact there are three Torts offered from
ORA alone , Cali, Oregon, and Blue. They are all different, and
they will vary in apperance depending on the system.
It is hard to say if the Torts from one supplier to the next are
the same coral. Names are like brands, and it is the distributor
that puts there stamp on the coral. Short of DNA sequencing
I think it is impossible to tell if it was harvested, or derived
from the same colony.
