ORA Hammer

Anyone knows whether the ORA hammer is a branching hammer or a wall hammer?

When I bought my ORA hammer, it looked like a wall hammer, but now it appears to be branching into 3 different heads.

I just got mine yesterday from DD and I love it! Its definately branching as mine has 2 distinct heads

DD has them all the time. that's where i got my ORA hammer from

I looked through there last night and only saw the green ones. Where do you guys find them? In LPS corals, maricultured, or aquacultured?

they're found in the aquacultured section, they're about $40/head. No, I don't considere DD's blue by any means. They're not really purple either, kinda in between? I really can't describe it, it's definately different though. i don't think the OP's looks blue, more purple under his actinic's.

I'd call the color a light purple when the coral is fully expanded..................under lighting that favors more blue it may look darker.

I got my at a LFS, they carry ORA corals. Under 14K MH, it looks more like light purple as well.

Yeah mines under 14k and looks more light purple than blue. I paid $40, what they running in lfs's these days?

i bought it with one head, grew another one, but it died, so i'm back down to one

that looks more orangish than purple or blue IMO. Good looking coral nonetheless.
