ORA list

Hugo i would like Johns list. I am down for A few and piggu back this order. I can shoot who ever a deposit or send one to John. I want a Chips and Joe the coral and Purple Stylo for sure.

I would like to see John's list too. Yes, I have the ORA site and the list open in tabs and going back and forth :lolspin: I'm disappointed more aren't on the list too.

So far the new purple undata looks nice, but would it look too much like other purple monti's?

Had the Purple Undata not like a Monti its an Undata I want that one back for sure

Don't remember but take your word for it, LOL. Will want one then.

When I ordered mine it was one of the corals that was only 1 avalible.
But ORA like's John they sent 2.
BTW John is the best person to do a ORA group buy with I wouldn't do one with anyone else JMHO FWIW

The ORA Jeremy's Green Montipora is the one I like the best but I don't think it was listed at all. bummer.

Glenn its a green Digitata LOL dime a dozen my friend
it's like the Julian Sprungs Stunner = Rich steven's Silver Dollar Chalice A.K.A Hollywood stunner
Like Spongodes and Confusa I have both they look the same grow the same ?
ORA's Blue Chalice looks the same as Tyree Blue Lamellosa
To many of the same corals get different names but still the same coral IMHO
There are only so many corals in the sea !

I know. John said he is friends with ORA but I am getting them almost at cost per coral with that hefty shipping cost compared to the 20 percent discount that your reef is offering. I want to help John with the ORA order but I will save a boatload of cash going with another connection. Plus, John said he'll appreciate it whether I get ORA or just his high end corals. He actually said to me that he preferred me buying his regular stock. If I factor in cost per frag, John's nice corals end up costing less or competitively priced. He cuts up the nice ones eventually and sells them at $35. That's about as competitive as it gets. I am surely not getting something like the ponape birds nest at ORA. John sells that all the time cheap. I am curious too with John's list. Since he is good friends with ORA his list might be longer unless Paul is correct about the issues they were having at ORA with their sps corals. In any case, the list should be made available if other options are available for us.

Btw, I am sure not everyone knows this but I am partially COLOR BLIND. I see colors but not the full spectrum of the rainbow! I have problem differentiating blue, purple and pink and shades of green, yellow, etc. I am also scientifically illiterate when comes to naming corals. I am slowly getting to learn them. Be gentle.. Haha. I wouldn't know much of a difference between one HAIRY coral to another. I just know when I like a coral.

Thanks Hugo. I am still not sure when I will "pull the trigger" with the ORA order and I don't want to pressure anyone in ordering corals online. I am somewhat more comfortable buying it all on my own. I told John that I am always willing to help him out and give him my business whether it is for ORA corals or not but at this time I most likely will go with a different lfs to do the ORA order(s). I am still recovering from the 2 mp60s that I purchased this month. The earliest I will be able to splurge on high end corals will be August 31st. We are not really that far from that date but the new iphone 5 is supposed to be out sometime in September too and both my wife and i are drooling to upgrade. John said he is giving me 20% off on the ORA corals but I know I can get them a lot cheaper through another source that I cannot mention. Cheap enough to the point that I can order every single type of acros and other sps corals all in one splurge. However, the only problem with ORA is that they do not make every single coral available in one order. I believe they list their prices and coral availability monthly or weekly and they limit you on the quantity of the frag that you want. This means that I would have to order more than once to get their complete collection of sps corals. My tank is doing so good right now that I am not afraid to buy any high end corals out there. I am just waiting for the right time to buy the corals. Glenn

Their supply system sounds a whole lot like De Beers diamond cartel business. LOL

Asian de beers. Please support our local fish stores - ALL OF THEM. We have lost a lot already with this economy. I don't want to lose what we still have.

Can we please stay on topic at this point. I have put all the information I have out there about who we are using and what the plan is. I really don't want to ask the mods to lock this thread or get into which fish store is better than others. I am going with who I trust and others can make their decision. So who is else is in so I can send the list to? I have alot of pm's and emails so anyone who has contacted me one way or another I will get in touch with you.
