ORA mandarins 13-14 months later

I've had my ora mandarins for a little over a year now and they have easily doubled in size. I still spot feed NLS small pellets 2x daily but they now know the turkey baster means dinner and they actively swim to greet it which makes feeding much easier. They also eat ova and mysid that the garden eels and pipes don't get to first.

Updates from anyone else? I know they were hit or miss whether they'd accept prepared foods

Hey Reb... I'd like to hear about the garden eels! How deep is your sandbed... How are you delivering food at the correct depth?

Sandbed ranges from 10" down to 3" but the three inch section is covered by rock and not used by the eels. Avg depth used by eels is 7-8". I have three mp-10s synced together for flow which keeps the cyclopleeze and ova suspended and moving throughout the water column. They are fed numerous times daily.
