ORA New Release: Green Tip Orange Birdsnest

Oh man that is amazing!!11. I can not wait until I get mine to add to the collection; this thing is so unique!! sarcasm/

geesh, all this aggression and negativity is hurting my memories of this corals feelings

If you guys think this is the worst thing ORA has released in the last couple of years then we have very different opinions of what a nice looking coral is.

This one is has both an interesting growth pattern and an interesting color. I like it. I will admit I prolly wouldnt pay ORA premium prices for it though. Of course I can say that about half of what ORA releases

I don't think I would be willing to let it take up any room in my tank. Too many other nice acros to choose from.

uhmmm I found that ORA had release a new BN and got pretty excited about it, especially when I saw the name orange and green tip... got busy looking for a pic of it and found this thread.... well!!! I have to say this is not a new coral at all... I've had this BN before I purchased it as a "sour apple" BN (just google sour apple birdsnest and click on images) and the drs live site has been selling it for ever... my colony died one day all of a sudden but a friend of mine still has his from a frag of mine, I'll see if I can find a pic of it... not a new coral, disappointing since I really like the previous ORA BN releases.

Just an FYI none of ORAs corals are "new" corals. They get all their original colonies/frags from aquarists from around the world. So it might be new to most of us, but there are frags of the same corals floating around before ORA bought it and started propagating it. At least this is what I was told by someone from ORA.

i just want to add for those that like this coral. I would have to say its the fastest growing coral i have ever had. like over the weekend kinda growth:D
