Cool....thanks dude.

Is it the same species what they call bali tri-color acro?

Anyway those photos really outstanding as compare to mine there, suck.

Thanks.

looking for a little help from the pearlberry pros.

my frag is about 2 inches and i got it 2 months ago. it has never had much color and it's currently very faded to slightly brown. every now and again i convince myself that the tips are blue or purple. i dont know if that means it's getting too much or too little light. it's about mid way in my tank under an AI LED module (new version). the coral is growing however.

the tank also has a gigantea anemone which is on the bottom at the rock/sand interface and that seems to be doing very well under the light, having visibly regained a lot of zooxanthellae in the last 2 months.

one question is this: could too much FLOW cause lack of color? i ask because i do have it positioned very close to an MP10 on high flow. i never associated color with flow, perhaps PE (of which there is none on this frag), but not color. i can post a pic, but would appreciate any advice. i'm new to corals and acros so general advice is also helpful. thanks!

I just picked up my first frag of the Pearlberry and I must say, I finally understand what the fuss is all about! This thing absolutely glows in my tank!! I want to thank myzislow and losthere for the frag. Thanks guys!

I have two, one high up in the light, and one mid-level in the tank. You can see the differences in color and branch thickness/texture.

I'm finally getting some good color out of this piece, it only took 2 years.

Nice job. This piece of mine I bought from a guy tearing his tank down, and when I got it, it was solid brown, almost looked dead. Took about a year or so to get back to its natural color. Took alot of patience.

This can definitely be a stubborn coral, but boy when it decides to play nice... It's one of the most beautiful.. Here's a pic of mine on the far left after several months..
