ORA pearlberry

So I got a coral 2 weekends ago at the LFS. didn't know what it was, it was just ORA and it looked nice. Someone suggested on my other thread that it was the elusive ORA Pearlberry. I know it's legit cause this store sells TONS of ORA corals, and it was on the original plug. Since you guys are the Pearlberry experts, can you I.D. this as one? If not, what else would it be?

Thanks!

Thank you for the input, but I've got a chips, and it looks very different. The chips has much larger corallites and is a lot furrier in the same tank, on the same frag rack, so in identical conditions. I dunno, I'm open to ideas. I guess time will tell best? That pic is also under 10k bulbs with no actinic supplement, so no doubt it's not going to look like some of the all-star shots we've seen in this thread so far. Thank you though!

Last night when my lights came on I was very surpised to see the polyp on the biggest branching tip was chips acro big. I didn't grab a picture but I'd say it was swinging in the flow atleast half a centimeter long.

The polyps on what's left of my pearlberry are huge at night, and I wouldn't exactly call them small during the day either. But, at night time it really puts them out there.

Here is an updated shot.

Thanks! Its under a 240w 20k Radium bulb and super actinic. It's about 8" under the water. The bulbs are in lumenarcs and about 10" off the water.

Thanks for the reply. I'm considering trying 250w radiums for my next bulb swap so that gives me a idea of where to go. I've got mine on luminarcs as well too. Mine will be on eballasts though. I can't wait to get my pearlberry and radiums! :)

Clownreef - Thanks for the compliment!!!

ReefWreak - I'm using the new IceCaps. They run the radiums much better than the old ones.
