ORA Purple Plasma

Hey all,
I am interested in seeing pictures of this coral. It reminds me so much of Tubbs Horrida...loved that coral. Maybe this "version" is a bit more hardy. May have to add it to the tank if I can find a nice piece of it.

Bryan, Glad to know that you see the ORA Purple Plasma as the cousin of the old school horrida. Has yours seemed nice and hardy??

Now I've got to find me a nice frag...I'm on the hunt :D.

Ive only had it a few weeks, its doing fine, and holding its color. I haven't seen anyone with a nice colony though. I would think being a ORA piece it's gunna be fairly hardy.

I got mine from Kalypso Aquatics in Lodi. Elliot seems to be placing orders from them every couple of weeks.

Lodi, eh? A little out of my way, hehehehe. I have seen a few pictures in my searches of some larger colonies. Quite beautiful.

I have both, the horrida seems to be much richer in color than the purple plasma I will post a pic for you after work tonight.

They're very hardy and really easy to keep. Polyps have no problem opening and they're big. For pictures, check out oracorals dot com.

the purple plasma i have looks just like the one from ora corals . com realistically its a bright neon green color with a purple base more green imo

This is how mine is. You can hardly see the purple skin. One of my fVorites though.
