Can anyone confirm that ORA is actually breeding the snowflakes? Or are the just importing them for resale?

i can not imagine that they would import fish from their competition and rebadge them ORA snowflake

i would bet cash money that these are from a spawning pair they are in possession of, that must have originated from proaquatix or TMC.

no because if they were percs they would be picasso's but these are snowflakes which makes them ocellaris.

Where's Ohma ...or however its spelled? I would love for him to join this discussion and let us know if the parents are Occelaris or from picasso parents. They Certianly looke Occ. to me.

of course they are that is the business they are in they breed fish and grow corals.

they are not importers or wholesalers.

they breed every species of clownfish they can get their hands on and will breed for them.


percula -3 varieties, regular, picasso, stubby.
ocellaris-4 varieties, Black, white (snowflake), naked, and regular
maroon- 2 varieties, Gold stripe, white Stripe,
clarki
tomato
sebae-2 varieties.
i bet i am missing a few.
ORA is a huge operation, with big private funding and a huge customer base, all the clowns in Petco are from ORA.

I was told by an ora rep about two weeks ago that they have only sold 6 pairs total.

I was thinking about joining the list, but I might just settle for some picassos.
