Just caught ready for local pickup. $30 - nice bright orange.

Doesn't like orange shoulder tangs by the way. I also had a yellow and naso with it and no problems. It's in my sump now, please come get it asap!

is that fish to big for a 24 gallon? or does he get alot bigger?

He'll need room to swim. 24 isn't really enough but that's paradise compared to the cup he's in now. Let me see if someone else chimes in, otherwise I don't care where he goes.

He eats mysis already and nori flakes - one of the best rock cleaners, excellent algae eaters. Very pretty fish.

I wish I knew for sure lowbudget. I can only say that I had it with my yellow that was just a little bigger than it and my naso tang. I only had a problem when I added the orange shoulder. The reason why I believe is 'cause they have mostly the same body shape, and behavourial characteristics, rock cleaning - their mouths were even the same. The purple looks like a yellow so it might not be an issue.

Thanks Sean, wish me luck he is now in his new home.
Very nice loooking guy even better in person and nice size too.

I will see you soon sean, thanks again

Update : Tomini tang came out from hiding today and swimming along purple tang and getting along.:bum:

Sweet, I know you were a little worried about them all getting along at first. They do like their rockwork! Cool, glad it wasn't disruptive to your tank. I hate when I add a fish and something doesn't get along with it.

hey SeanI'm sooo happy with this fish, he is swimming in and out of the rock like crazy and eating everything that I put in the tank.

I love getting fish fron other reefers, very ealthy and fat.

Thanks Sean

Welcome Freddy. I hated to get rid of him because he was a great fish but it was him or the orange shoulder. These fish are great at cleaning the rocks, funny thing orange shoulder in contrast only eats the sand among what I put in the tank. Nice that it worked out.
