Orange Fleshy Limpet

Just sharing a photo - don't get to see these guys too often. Anyone else have any? I've heard they can eat some coral tissue, but I've never seen mine do any damage to anything. Innocent until proven guilty!

It was a hitchhiker on some live rock from Tampa Bay Saltwater. I've had it a little over a year.

Way cool! But usually innocent until half your coral was gone. I had a 2" starfish in my tank for 2 years with kenyas, sinularias, and xenia. All was fine. Last week, I realize he's eating the xenia and within 3 days all 6 colonies are gone. But still, awesome little guy!

Oh I know that much is true. I kept this guy because he is uncommon. I had around a dozen keyhole limpets that were attacking corals.

Even if he does turn out to eat corals... He's worth setting up a nano tank for! So cool!
