Orange Fromia star problem??

BTW My parameters are :
0 ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate.
SG 1.023 ( LFS SG 1.019)
Alk 11 dkh (LFS Alk 15dKH)

I bought it last week and acclimated it within 1.5 hr
no signs of necrosis
Started out by sticking to the glass, and now its laying on the sand with slight movement every now and then.

thanks again

its probably dieing. they are known to be touchy and not live very long. leave them were they belong, in the ocean. the LFS salinity probably did it in, and you may want to bump yours up to 1.025.

Well so far this is the second fromia I am attempting, the first one i tried 5 months ago melted the first day. The 2nd one "knock on wood" is doing better now in its 2nd week. :)
I raised the salinity to 1.025 and it seems to be much happier and has stopped curling its arms.
I've got plenty of algae on my glass and rocks so hopefully that should be enough food for him/ her.
