Orange Lined Cardinalfish - Apogen Cyanosoma

I've searched and can't find much first hand experience with this fish. Has anyone here successfully kept a group of them? How large of a tank do they need if kept in a shoaling group? I'm considering them for a 24x24x20 50g.

i love this fish and always liked a school. but never succeeded in a school. kept killing themselves till a pair.

don't know why.

yeah ive only seen a quad group last in a 690 gallon,, and i beleive that they are down to 2 no as well.

We've had a group of 8 in the 180 display of the store I work at for several months. They are constantly breeding and at any given time one or two of them are holding eggs. We didnt lose any of that group. Fed them mysis 3x daily for several weeks, now theyre mostly getting it 2x. We've ordered them a few other times and lost a few, but they surprised me with their hardiness.

I have one (lost one for unknown reasons). Great fish... really beautiful once they settle in and color up (quite pale at most LFS IME). Mine eats anything, including pellets and flake.
