orange monti cap on a small rock

I've used a big glob of superglue gel and then place in very very low flow for about a week.

Jeff, are you serious?

I can barely get rocks to stick to each othe rwith aquamend...I always super glue monti caps straight to the rock, but they slime up so its kind of tough

I actually dry the gluing zone with paper towel and then apply the superglue

I use the aquamend with anything that is rock to rock connection. Works perfect if you can get the epoxy really soft and mushy.

so you glue the frag to a rock, then aquamend it to your existing structure?

thats what I do too then

oh wait. I re-read. I do what you do. glue first.

I've had a lpt of miller chills tonight. they're good!

I used a rubberband. It worked. My orange Monti is attached very nicely. All though it was a very small piece about 1-2 inches.

that's impressive, I cant even think of a way to fill a line printer terminal with beer, let alone drink one

2 part plumbers epoxy and super glue gel has always worked the best for me. Get the stick of epoxy that's dark gray on the inside and light gray on the outside. make a nice size ball of it and slightly flatten it out then mount it like this: coral-super glue gel-epoxy-super glue gel-rock. Works awesome....

I don't remember the name of it to be honest. I just know it's a two part stick of the stuff and the inside is dark gray, outside light gray. I started using it about 5 years ago and it works much better than the marine stuff and it doesn't flake apart either. The gray looks better in the tank as well since it doesn't stand out like the white did.
